Ann Eyi-Ojotule James
Ann Eyi-Ojotule James is the founder of Edureach Africa, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering communities through access to quality education and community engagement. She is a Global Youth Ambassador with Theirworld, an UNCTAD Alumni, and a Young Influencer with UNICEF Nigeria, passionately advocating for inclusive and quality education as outlined in the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4.
A Christian, change-maker, entrepreneur, and communications professional, Ann currently serves as a UN Volunteer Communications Assistant with UNICEF Nigeria. She leverages her expertise in storytelling and strategic communication to amplify the voices of underserved communities, inspire action, and drive meaningful impact.
In her previous role with DoTakeAction, Ann contributed to projects in partnership with the World Bank, UN Women Nigeria, and other development organizations, where she worked on initiatives promoting social impact and sustainable development across communities.
She believes in the transformative power of education to redefine a nation’s future. Ann has spearheaded impactful initiatives like the Bridges to Brilliance Project, which provides educational opportunities for children in IDP camps, and the Pad Project, which educates girls in rural areas about menstrual hygiene. She also organized a Spelling Bee Competition for students in underserved communities, promoting learning beyond the classroom.
Ann thrives on collaboration and continues to volunteer with groups making meaningful strides toward positive change. Her work embodies her unwavering dedication to building a brighter future through education and effective advocacy.
