Cerridwen Heron
Cerridwen joined the Dallaire Institute in May 2021 after graduating from Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Development Studies and Political Science. While at SMU, Cerridwen worked as a Research Assistant and was a founding team member of the annual student-led conference, East Coast International Development Summit, organizing the conference in 2020 and 2021. She is passionate about raising public awareness and supporting those affected by conflict and natural disasters.
Cerridwen is also a CELTA-certified English teacher with experience in early childhood ESL education, office administration, communications, and community development.
She was born in Nova Scotia with Canadian and German citizenship, has worked in Canada, Germany, and China, and volunteered in Canada, the Philippines, Peru, and Kenya.
