Clemence Magombedze Langa
Clemence Langa is a distinguished humanitarian and international development leader with over 24 years of demonstrable success driving transformative programs in the world’s most complex and challenging environments. Currently serving as PVPSSA Project Manager with the Dallaire Institute in South Sudan, Clemence held pivotal leadership positions where he consistently delivered systemic impact. As National Director at SOS Children's Villages Mozambique, he defined the strategic vision and directed nationwide child-care, education, and health programs, including critical humanitarian responses in active conflict and disaster zones. His extensive leadership portfolio includes serving as Provincial Director for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, where he spearheaded the launch and scale-up of life-saving HIV prevention and treatment initiatives across Mozambique.
Clemence has a proven track record in orchestrating large-scale recovery and resilience efforts, exemplified by his role as Country Project Coordinator for the Ministry of Economy and Finance (World Bank financed project), where he expertly coordinated a complex, multi-sectoral post-disaster reconstruction program. His deep commitment to empowerment and governance was honed as Director of Programmes at ActionAid International Mozambique, focusing on women's rights and community-led development. Demonstrating exceptional strategic partnership and portfolio management capabilities, Clemence served as Country Director for both Oxfam Australia and Right To Play International in Mozambique.
