Support Us

You can support us to grow our flagship work of training military, police, peacekeepers, security personnel and community groups, who are often the first point of contact for child soldiers. By equipping those on the front lines with the right tools and training, we believe we can make the recruitment and use of child soldiers unthinkable. Join us by supporting our exciting partnerships and initiatives.

Join our #EmpowerToPrevent campaign

The UN Children And Armed Conflict (CAAC) mandate began 25 years ago. To acknowledge this work and continue our mission to prevent the recruitment and use of children in armed violence and transform cycles of violence, we are calling on our friends and supporters to help us move the needle forward.

Donate $25 to provide essential materials that help a journalist, young person or woman leader learn how they can work to prevent the recruitment of children. Our toolkits and materials, including Child Soldiers: Training Handbook for Security Sector Actors have become a cornerstone of training efforts globally.

Donate $250 to empower young people, such as Musa Grow in Sierra Leone, to work within their local community to develop effective strategies to prevent the recruitment of children in armed violence, and prevent future generations from suffering the same fate as their childhood friends.

Donate $2,500 to support important training and empowerment of 10 community leaders. Women like legal aid officer, Christina and Community Chief, Mary Nyathiel in South Sudan are being equipped with the confidence, training and opportunities to engage in the decision-making process and be a voice for the voiceless in protecting children from violence.

Donate $25,000 so that we can empower an entire network to work within their local communities to protect children and prevent their recruitment. Once a community is prepared with knowledge and training, we can work with them to develop innovative, wide-reaching strategies, such as awareness-raising comic books in Colombia or essential radio shows that reach the masses, as we did in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Peace by Chocolate

Together with Peace by Chocolate we have launched a special edition Children, Peace and Security chocolate bar that raises awareness and funds for our global work to protect children and end cycles of violence.

We are proud to partner with Peace by Chocolate in our shared commitment to peacebuilding and ending the recruitment and use of children in armed violence. By making children a priority, we can build bridges, foster open dialogue, and increase confidence and trust on the road to peace.

We invite you to savor our new limited-edition Children, Peace and Security chocolate bars, available in either milk chocolate or dark chocolate with Canadian maple flakes. Specially crafted by the chocolatiers at Peace by Chocolate, these delightful treats are helping to realize a world where children are at the heart of peace and security.

Help us continue to be a global leader in promoting a children, peace and security agenda. With every Children, Peace and Security bar you buy, one dollar will ensure peacekeepers, military forces and other security sector actors around the world are prepared to prevent the recruitment and use of children in violence.
