Francois Bisengimana

Francois Bisengimana is the Deputy Project Director for the Promoting the Vancouver Principles in Sub-Saharan Africa (PVPSSA) project. Francois joined the Dallaire Institute in March 2023, bringing over 14 years of experience in the child protection and child rights governance programming arena; after serving on strategic positions in various organizations including Right To Play International Rwanda, Save the Children International Rwanda-Burundi, the Rwandan Ministry of Local Government and the Rwandan National Commission for Children. 

With a vast exposure to the design and management of multi-year, multi-donor and multi-stakeholder Child Protection and Child Rights Governance projects both in Development and Humanitarian contexts, Francois has provided sound programmatic and financial oversight of the projects while coordinating donor reporting, building and maintaining strong relations with the Government, UN agencies and local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). Francois is holding an MBA in International Business from Amity University Noida, a Bachelor of Science with Education from the University of Rwanda and various professional certification including the Project DPro, the Program DPro, the MEAL DPro and the Finance DPro; all from PM4NGOs".
