Mwali M Merci holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Project Planning and Management with more than five years of research experience around gender and social inclusion, child protection, social protection, WASH, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, and education.  

Before joining Dallaire Institute, Merci worked at YLabs, where she was part of the research team conducting monitoring and evaluation activities for the organization's programs. She also conducted consultancy assignments with government, non-government organizations, and international consulting firms such as Plan International Rwanda, Norwegian People's Aids (NPA), Palladium Group, Overseas Development Institute, Forcier Consulting, and Development Pathways. Merci's favorite parts of her experience are research design, data collection, analysis, disseminating findings, and seeing them transition into policy decisions. Merci also likes giving training on research and project management.
